Some time ago, I had the thought that I would like to undertake a challenge, which those that know me well may think I am going everso slightly mad!

I had the idea of trekking up the highest free standing mountain in the world (Kilimanjaro). Apart from now denying myself the usual amounts of beer and curry in an effort to get fit for this challenge, I also wanted to raise money for a cause that I felt made a real difference to to the people it served.

If I can reach the top of Kili whilst also making a small difference to the lives of the children that 'Make a Wish' support, then every aching limb or blister will be worth it.

I would be really grateful if you could donate whatever you can spare for this great cause, or just in support of my poor feet.
