Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My 60th marathon will be my 10th London (but my first with daughter, Claire).

I'll be running for Scope, a charity whose overall purpose is to drive change so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Its aims include:

  • never setting limits for any disabled person's individual potential
  • respecting the right of every disabled person to exercise choice and control over decisions that shape their future
  • considering all the qualities and characteristics that go to make people distinctive and unique
  • providing the same opportunities to education, work, building a home and social life as well as access to any location or venue
  • ensuring services are designed to support disabled people, enabling them to become increasingly independent and live their lives within the community of their choice.

I would really appreciate it if you could support me with a JustGiving donation. Every penny collected goes to Scope and each contribution is important, whether it's 50p or £50. If you are able to sponsor me - thank you so much. Perhaps you could mention it to a friend too?
