In Memory of Mike and Peter Feighan

Mike Feighan is raising money for Alzheimer's Society
In memory of Peter (Paddy) Feighan

Manchester Half Marathon 2021 · 10 October 2021 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Mike Feighan sadly passed away recently in a swimming accident whilst on holiday in Cornwall with his family. He was due to run the Manchester half marathon this October for the Alzheimer's Society, with some friends from South West Road Runners (SWRR).

He previously wrote "A big draw for me is running it for Alzheimer's Society. My Dad has advanced dementia (Alzheimer's and vascular dementia). He still lives at home with my mum in Weymouth and has been supported by the Alzheimer's Society over the last year or so".

As this was a cause very close to Mike's heart, anyone wishing to make any further donations in his honour can do so through this JustGiving page which he had already set up for the event.

Thanks, from Mike's family 💚
