2012 fundraising campaign. The aim is to raise much-needed funds for both our school and church. There are a number of really exciting events planned over the next few months including our Summer Fete on 16th June, the British 10k London Run on 8th July and a community play later in the autumn.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I will be doing the 30km bike section of the relay triathlon to raise money for St Peter's Eaton Square School to buy sports equipment.

St Peter's is an excellent primary school in Westminster.  However, due to the peculiarities of government funding rules, it is just about the most poorly funded school in the country - it gets enough to provide a basic education and nothing more.  Anything extra has to be raised by the School's PTA.

As a result, a number of us parents of children at the school are taking part in the "Bananaman Triathlon."  Our particular goal is to raise funds for sport within the school, e.g. buying some footballs, hiring pitches, installing a climbing wall and paying for access to the athletics track in Battersea Park, hiring instructors, etc.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The St Peter's Parents-Teachers Association gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
