Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m doing the Outlaw half Ironman (In Nottingham) this year in support of Cancer Research and in memory of my Dad, who we lost very suddenly to this awful disease last July.

Those that know me well know I like a social beverage, Enjoy burgers, cakes and I don’t really enjoy running, so this is going to be a big challenge for me, both physically and mentally. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

I have completed sprint triathlons in the past but this is another level. The Outlaw half Ironman consists for a 1.2 mile open water swim (a first for me), a 56 mile cycle and then a 13.1 mile run!.........some training is needed!

The event is being held on Sunday the 29th May 2016.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and thanks in advance for any donation you make.
