Joseph's Goal Wigan to Blackpool Bike Ride · 18 October 2013

Joseph Michael Kendrick is 15 years old and has Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia, a rare genetic disorder that affects one in 60,000 new-borns. The condition is so serious that less than 500 people in the world are living with it. Joseph’s Goal has been set up to raise funds and awareness into NKH.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am supporting the Joseph's Goal Charity.

Joseph is a young child and he has a very rare medical condition. The Joseph's Goal Charity is raising funds to support research into the rare condition NKH (Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia). In May Joseph was the mascot at a game that was the most special and fantastic moment I have experienced as a football supporter.

After learning more about Joseph I wanted to find a way of supporting the charity so when I heard of a bike ride between Wigan and Blackpool then it was an event I was eager to take part in.

I know times are difficult at the moment for many people and there are many charity events to support but if you are able to contribute financially to my bike challenge then me and, more importantly, Joseph's family will be most grateful.

Best wishes
