I am raising money for Leonard Cheshire International's India programme. Due to my MS I will be doing the marathon on crutches which may take up to 2 days.

From my time at LCI I know that the work they do in India is absolutely fantastic, with an incredibly dedicated country manager in post.  They do excellent work for disabled people, especially for children who have not had the same opportunities in life that we have all had. I am incredibly passionate about this, and will be going out for a week to volunteer and 'hand your money over' to the country manager (I have already bought my flight - your money will not be used for that). Your money will not be wasted anywhere - it has tangible benefits that make a heartwarming and real improvement to their lives.

While the target above is £7k, I am aiming to beat that as everything raised will be put to good use.
