We help disadvantaged young people to find jobs in the construction industry

Story

This year I am Master of the Worshipful Company of Paviors, a city livery company.  I am rowing the Thames at the end of July to raise money for the Paviors Charity and our chosen charities for this year WARCHILD and RNLI.

It is about 90 miles down the Thames from Burcot to Teddington so I should burn a few calories!

The Worshipful Company of Paviors particularly support young people into work in construction.  They're award winning academy helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and provides pre-employment training and work opportunities.  It is widely recognised for its effectiveness and often gives youngsters who have not thrived at school a vital second chance.

You can see that story of the Paviors Academy on a youTube link here:-
