Mighty Hike Peak District 2019 · 27 July 2019 ·

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

There will be blisters, expletives and, in all likelihood, tears as we embark on a 26 mile hike on behalf of the brilliant team at Macmillan Cancer Support.

For a family famed for its passion for sitting around and eating biscuits, this hike is a big commitment...but will be worth every step.

Why?  Because we said our last goodbye and 'I love you' to Dad just over a year ago.  We miss him every day.  Cancer does that to a family.

The good news is that Macmillan Cancer Support are on hand to help people find the best way through from the moment of diagnosis, allowing them to live life as fully as they can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.

Go on...dig deep and laugh loudly at the thought of the three of us hobbling our way through the Peak District.  What could possibly go wrong..?
