As accountants, we at MILES cmc seek to advance the financial health and wellbeing of our clients.  During 2013, as a team, we also decided to play a small part improving the wellbeing of people suffering in so many parts of the world.  We are doing this by supporting the charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) because of the amazing work it does providing emergency medical aid in more than 60 countries worldwide, in many places where access to doctors and hospitals for ordinary people is almost non-existent due to war, natural disasters and epidemics.  Invariably MSF are first on the scene with volunteer medical relief.  For example, in war torn Syria the work of MSF is a lifeline for many innocent victims of the current violence and unrest . 

We have set a target of £2,000 within JustGiving and, as Principal of the firm, I am committing to some matched giving up to that target of £1 for every £2 given; effectively yielding a total of £3,000 - so your donation will be 50% more effective!

If you would like to donate to this cause, it is very simple using JustGiving and it is fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Médecins Sans Frontières.  So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.  If you are a taxpayer do take advatage of the Gift Aid facility - this adds an extra 25p for every £1 you donate.
