Maddox is a close family friend.  In the past 6 months she has been diagnosed with bone cancer, broken her leg, started chemotherapy, had a partial amputation and now faces full amputation of her leg.  Once this operation is complete this incredible young lady will need to learn to walk again and overcome whatever daily challenges life throws at her all at the age of 14.  So as a team we want to get behind her to show our support and do something which right now we all think is huge!  Between us we will be swimming over 150km.
