Story

October 2021 marks 5 years since James passed away and as a collective, we (Paul, John, Truswell, Woody, Joe, Danny, and Tim) wanted to take on an an epic challenge and we think we have found it...

10-12 September 2021, we will be taking on the 24 Peaks Challenge in the Lake District which is 2 days of trekking. Day 1 is like climbing Ben Nevis 1.5 times, Day 2 is like climbing Mt Snowdown 3 times.

The target of £6000 will cover the cancellation of JimJam 2020 and  2021. It's a key fundraising event for us and now more than ever, charities need your help.

We have to raise a least £4500 by the end of June to hit targets set by the charity and company managing the challenge on the day.

Your fundraising in the past has paid for 300 people to have a free heart screening and will of course go on to fund more.

We know this is a big ask, but it's your donations that will get us through the training for this pretty gruelling challenge.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young. By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions. See how your support can help by visiting www.c-r-y.org.uk
