Story

On Wednesday 19th May, the pupils from MHCPS are invited to take part in “Rosie’s Rainbow Race” in order to raise money for LATCH.  This is a wonderful charity that supports the children who are receiving treatment for cancer at the Children’s Hospital for Wales and their families.  Please dig deep to sponsor the children taking part in the fundraising event in order to raise as much as we can to support this charity close to our hearts.

Rosie's mum says "Rosie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in her knee in September 2020 which was a huge shock to us all as a family.  LATCH were there from day one to support all of us throughout Rosie's journey.  They provide free accommodation above the rainbow cancer ward in Noah's Ark Hospital in Cardiff and being so far away in Pembrokeshire this gave us the time out away from the ward.  They provide so much support for all of the rainbow families in so many ways.  LATCH rely heavily on volunteers and fundraising to raise funds to support the families through their cancer treatment and we could not have got through any of Rosie's journey without them."
