The Silver Star Maternity Funds' aim is to 'To make things better for all Oxfordshire Mothers and their families. Raising money for this fantastic charity will help keep the Silver Star unit equipped, improve the comfort and amenities for ALL women during their stay and to continue to support research into complications during pregnancy.

As the Acting Director of Midwifery at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and having experienced such complications within my own triplet pregnancy I know first hand how important a service like Silver Star is and means for women and their families.
