International Minnie day in aid of RSPCA Millbrook

International Minnie day in aid of RSPCA Millbrook · 2 June 2021
On the 2nd of June 2019, RSPCA Millbrook was informed a severely abused 9 month old cat was found in Woking, UK. The tiny tortoiseshell cat had burns all over her body, unable to stand and signs of sexual abuse. After spending several days at the vet, she was released into Millbrook’s care and called Minnie, because of her size. They cared for her wounds, helped her go to the toilet and showered her with love. Minnie slowly started to walk again. After a few weeks, she was placed with a foster, Maureen, who continued working with Minnie and help build her confidence.
On the 8th of October, more than 4 months after she was found, she left for her forever home with us at Cat Castle.
We have decided to celebrate International Minnie day on the date 2 years on from when she was rescued. People all over the world fell in love with Minnie and she received cards and gifts from as far afield as Australia and the USA.
We at Cat Castle have the easy job of loving Minnie and spoiling her. Millbrook RSPCA had the heartbreaking job of cleaning those horrendous wounds and we therefore want to raise vital funds so more cats can find a loving forever home.
We are immensely grateful for all they have done and hope to raise lots and lots for them.
This fundraiser will run until the end of June 2021 and any amount, small or large is much appreciated.
IMPORTANT: Anyone donating will be entered into the draw. Please include your social media handle so we can find you!
Make sure to join us on the 3rd of July on twitter where we will host live from 8pm UK time, 9pm Amsterdam time.
From Minnie and all of us at Cat Castle, thank you!
