Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else. With your help, we can build a safer world for children. unicef.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In March 2020, I will be trekking the Sahara Desert with 35 other DLA Piper colleagues from around the world all in support of Unicef. The challenge is to embark on a 5 day trek across the Jebel Saghro region, starting on the Maider El Kbir plateau, before ascending Jebel El Mrakib, and admiring the stunning views. We will be walking through palm gorges along the route that joins the dry Rhris River and heads towards an oasis of tamarisk trees to the Tikertouachene River and we will raise a grand total of £100,000.

All children have the right to survive, thrive and fulfill their potential. That is why supporting Unicef is so important. Unicef works in over 190 countries and DLA Piper has been working with Unicef for many years. Now it is my turn to give back.

What your donations go towards:

$240 could provide 10 children in conflict with the law with support for 2 months

$270 could immunise 200 kids against deadly childhood diseases.

$500 could provide 150 children with a nutritious meal at a support centre

Your donation doesn’t just send life-saving food, vaccines or emergency supplies to a child. It gives hope to children who truly need it most.
