Story
Hi, Millie Bright here!
We are all going through a tough time at the moment and I want to start by thanking the NHS and the amazing work they are doing to keep us all safe.
I have close family working on the frontline so to them and everyone else, you are heroes, thank you.
Make-A-Wish UK also works closely with NHS and care teams when they refer seriously ill children for wishes.
I am supporting them to help raise crucial funding for the important work that they do.
We all need something positive to look forward to during tough times and the wishes they grant are just that - powerful motivators for families whose lives
have been turned upside down by medical treatment, worry and financial strain.
As a result of the Coronavirus, more than 2000 children are waiting for their wishes to be granted when the world is a safer place.
To mark World Wish Day on Wednesday 29th April, I’m launching #MilliesMatchdayChallenge and encouraging my friends, family, team mates and
everyone else to donate and have a go.
So spread the word and please donate whatever you can to give hope to those children waiting for their wishes to come true - #wishesarewaiting.
I am extremely grateful for all of your donations.
Thank you
