Millie-Scarlett arrived on October the 27th 2015 and was sadly laid to rest at just 50 days old. Millie suffered from menigitis c and sepsis. Millie recieved care which was second to none during her last days spent with us. She was cared for at the Bristol Royal Childrens Hospital. The compassion and attention to care which was practiced at Bristols Royal Childrens Hospital was truly amazing. Yet there was no hope for our little Millie. Millie-Scarletts shortlived time was spent with her nearest and dearest. Millie was surrounded by love and happiness and her little soul has left the biggest impact on many lives. Millie will also live on in others as she became the youngest organ donator within Bristols Royal Childrens Hospital. Millies kidneys and liver cells were donated and have gone on to help other unwell people. Millie's mum stacey and family are hoping to raise money on Millie's behalf to provide some much needed equipment for the transport team at Bristols Royal Childrens Hospital. Our goal is to purchase a paediatric babypod along with the essentials needed to transfer critically ill babies safely to specialist hospitals.

At present there is only one paediatric babypod in use that covers the whole of the south west of England and Wales. Without this vital equipment Millie would not have made the journey from Swansea to Bristols Paediatric intensive care unit.

It would be a great achievment if we could make a second pod available whilst also saying thank you for the hard work put into Millie's care. We also wish for Millie-Scarletts memory to live on in a positive way whilst helping others on her behalf.
