Climbing Kilimanjaro! · 29 December 2021

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Chris, Pete and Andy's JustGiving page.

At the end of the year we will be travelling to Tanzania to take on the huge challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, at a height of 5895 mtrs ,  Africa's highest peak.

After losing our Dad, Bob in 2020 to Prostate Cancer, it felt right to make the trip in his honour and raise valuable funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

We'll be trekking for 8 days , beginning in the 30oC heat and humidity of the rainforest to the summit where temperatures could drop as low as -15oC  !

1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

Please give what you can to help Prostate Cancer UK continue their pioneering research, paving the way to a better future for men with prostate cancer.
