Always whistling a tune, with an infectious laugh and happy listening to music, or within nature for a walk or bike ride.

For the last few years of his life, Alzheimer’s changed him, whilst he’d still whistle a tune, the laugh and smiles faded as he was unable to recognise his family. It was heartbreaking to see the changes in him.

As we come up to the first anniversary of his death this September, we as a family (10 of us) are taking part in the Alzheimer’s Society memory walk on 8th September. We are Team Donald’s Ducks 🦆 💙 for him.

We want to raise money to help understand the disease better, support those going through it now and for research, so that this could be a disease of the past.
