Welcome to the Mindful December Chill just giving page. My name is Tim and I am joined on this challenge by Clare.
We have decided to raise money for Mind because there is an increasing amount of scientific evidence supporting the positive relationship between cold water immersion and good mental health.
We will be getting in some form of cold water every day, it may be a lake, it may be a river, and on occasions it will probably be a recycling bin in my back garden, and Clare's ice bath in her back garden. Some days it will be a short dip or dunk, other days will be a longer swim. Everyday we will endeavour to practice mindfulness while we are embracing the cold.

Good mental health is important. Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
We know it’s been a tough year, and everyone is struggling financially. This means that right now (more than ever before) Mind have their work cut out helping people find their way through the difficult situations that they find themselves in.
