On 23rd April 2016, Crendon’s Darren Kneeshaw will be taking on a huge challenge; cycling from John O’Groats to Lands End in 7 days. Along with his friend and fellow-cyclist, John Hines, Darren will be cycling approx. 150 miles per day to raise money for the mental health charity MIND. 

The aim is to raise awareness of mental health issues, and raise money to support families who have suffered bereavement in tragic circumstances. We wanted to do something difficult; something we had to train hard for in the hope that the difficulty is recognised and reflected in the money we are able to raise. As Darren is an off-road cyclist, moving to roads and a completely different training regime has completely taken him out of his comfort zone!
