Saturday 8th July 2023 - Ride from Rykas in Dorking to Custom Cafe

Mind rider is a charity organisation for riders who want to raise awareness of mental health and take part in challenging the stigma around mental health in our communities. We often look to our motorcycles and fellow riders for relief from the stresses of everyday living and whatever we may be dealing with. Our annual ride was founded in the heart of the pandemic to do just that - opening coversations about mental health and raising money for Mind mental health charity.

Meet starts at Rykas Cafe in Dorking for 1030 

We then take a scenic route to Custom Cafe for lunch before a group photo at Beachy Head.

Some words from founding mind rider Henry:

I have had my own challenges with mental health throughout my life and Motorcycling is a place where life makes sense to me.

The biking community is one of the few places I have experienced family, freedom, and support in tough times. Especially following my Father's suicide when I was 19. 

I am currently training as a Psychotherapist, ride an Aprilia Tuono, and am accredited by Mind as a public speaker, where I have delivered talks to raise mental health awareness. 

I hope you will see this as an opportunity to support what I believe is a great cause and enjoy a ride together on Saturday 8th July in aid of the Mind Charity and in solidarity for those of us who suffer from mental illnesses.
