I am participating in the WRT2021 virtual relay challenge for the Laura Hyde Foundation because I believe we need to support the people who have supported us....

We are a group of swimmers that have come together over the last year and developed strong friendships and supported each other through these turbulent times! Some of us used to work for the NHS, some still do but all of us want to give back and believe “our carers need caring too”. We’re challenging ourselves to navigate down the river Wharfe, from Burley in Wharfedale to Arthington. This will be a mixture of swimming/paddling or walking and the plan is to do this over 2 days, June 26th/27th river levels dependent. The aim is to raise money for the Laura Hyde foundation which supports NHS keyworkers and their mental health. Why not come along and see if you can spot us!! Any donations are hugely appreciated...let’s support our NHS!
