Hi! I began running in lockdown which has increased in both distance and frequency of late. Friends asked if I had a goal in mind. I have now challenged myself to running as many miles as I can throughout November for the MS Society.

This cause is close to my heart having lost my dear Dad to this cruel disease. Dad was not much older than I am now when he was diagnosed with progressive MS. His mobility quickly declined and soon after he required 24 hour care. How this affected Dad as a person and all of us who loved him as a family was far reaching. Dad was often in severe pain but he continued to be part of the society that he lived in. 

Research into the disease has progressed since Dad diagnosis and by raising funds for the society more research can take place into more and better treatments.
