Thank you for your support and any small donations will be very much appreciated.
I have always working and volunteered with the homeless community starting off volunteering in a soup kitchen to doing health drop in 's as a nurse in Dorset and an agency nursing sister in custody where a lot of young people and adults who I saw lived on the streets. I remember thinking they are so at risk of being explotied and they are not just a homeless person, but actually someone's son, sister, friend, brother, husband or father. How would I feel if it was one of my family members sat in front of me in poor health and living in shop doorways?
Young people need to be secure and protected in order to thrive and achieve in life but many do not have the luxury of a safe home due to income, family difficulties, abuse or conflict so I feel I have to support them and do the Brizzle Sleep Out again this year.
I recognise money is tight and everyone is asking for money from all angles, but any small amount adds up and all helps towards ending youth homelessness in Bristol.
Thank you and much love
