Story

In memory of my late Godmother Tracey Cartwright, I am raising money for the University Hospitals of North Midlands (UHMN) Cancer Centre.

My Godmother was the best ever! She was the kindest, fun loving and most caring person I have known.
Never blessed with her own children, Tracey would devote her live being my Godmother and that of others and in helping children and young people in need.
Sadly just over two years ago, she became very ill and soon after past away from cancer. She left me too soon!

This year would have been her 50th birthday. Sadly I cannot celebrate this with her, so instead I want to do something that I know she will love.

Swimming was one her favourite sports, so I have decided that I am going to do a 50 Lengths Swimming Challenge
This month I will swim 50 x 30 meters, finishing with the remaining 5 lengths on 30th January 2022 one day before her birthday at the South Moorlands Leisure Centre in Cheadle.

I am trying to raise awareness and a minimum of £0.50 per person to reach a minimum goal of £50.00 to mark this special occasion.
Will you support me to donate to small cell cancer research  in honour of one very special lady whom I love and miss so very much?

Thanking you in advance,

Laurens Rampling - 9 years old
