Story
So many charities have suffered an impact due to the pandemic, since the lack of large events have reduced the ability to organise fundraising. In my last 21 days of being 21 I would like to walk 500,000 steps (about 25,000 a day) in order to raise some money for MS Revive. It’s a charity very important to my family and I sometimes take for granted how I can just get up and walk wherever I want, and if only it were that easy for sufferers of MS. There is no cure as of yet but just like many illnesses they are searching with great effort, however MS Revive gives people living with the illness the crucial aids of physiotherapy, exercise classes and psychological support just to name a few. Even if you can afford to donate a fiver it would be a better birthday present to me than anything else.
Thank you 🙏🏻 time to get moving 🤣🚶♀️
People with MS suffer more than most at times like this. Living with eight chronic symptoms, day-to-day, half with MS-related depression, anxiety and sleep problems, others with difficulty walking, talking, swallowing and doing other things we all take for granted, many with MS find it difficult to cope without extra help. This is the vital work that the specialist team at Revive MS Support carry out for over 1,700 people living with MS across Scotland. This is a charity that is important to me and I want to ensure that they will be able to continue reaching out to people to provide vital support in the future. Please give what you can.
