Now that the restrictions on exercising outdoors have been lifted in England, I am attempting to break my working week walking record, while raising money for the charity that runs our neighbouring park, the Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park!

While fundraising for the NHS charities and other national charities has been in the spotlight lately (with Captain Tom Moore raising more than £30 million alone!), smaller local charities have found the lockdown months very tough.  It's also the case of The Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, which normally depends on corporate volunteering days and on people participating in events in the park, which have had to be cancelled. I would therefore be grateful if you could support them with a small donation.

Many of you know that I am a keen walker. My current working week record stands at 132.4 km (82.3 miles).  I will try to walk further during the week of 18-24 May, which will be a normal working week for me. I promise to post daily updates on my progress here!
