Story
As many of you are already aware I am currently nearing the end of my grueling training program to run the London Marathon (42km or 26miles) in just 10 days time!
I have been awarded a golden bond place with 5 other runners from Arup to support a great cause Sports Aid. SportsAid is the charity for sport. It helps youngsters both able-bodied and disabled to realise their sporting ambitions. Young talent needs help and recognition – SportsAid provides both.
On average each athlete spends nearly £5,000 per year on equipment, training, traveling and all of the other essentials that are required to compete at the top level. Once each nomination is agreed a SportsAid grant is presented to each individual athlete directly. Intervention at such a crucial time is often the difference between a young sports person continuing in their chosen sport or quitting.
My target is raising £1500 for Sports Aid; it would be great if you can sponsor me through my website below or just let me know:

I will be meeting for lunch after the marathon on Sunday the 26th at 2.30pm at the International Bar, 116 St Martins Lane WC2N 4BF just up from Trafalgar square (opposite the National Portrait Gallery).
Let me know if you can make it down for a drink to help me celebrate!
Thank you for your all your continued support, it is greatly appreciated.
