At the end of July, I am riding in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 (a 100 mile "sportive" around London and Surrey) with my dad for the charity, One Cause.

One Cause's core belief is that education is the solution to poverty and they do great work sponsoring the schooling of children from underprivileged communities in Uganda and India.

100 miles is a long way to cycle - much longer than I've ever ridden before but knowing that I'm helping to raise the aspirations of those less fortunate than me will definitely make it worth it. I've also been getting some miles on saddle which will hopefully make it less painful.
