Bath Half 2022
Campaign by Avon Wildlife Trust (RCN 280422)
Taking on Bath Half 2022 to fundraise for Avon's wildlife helping restore and protect Avon's wildlife for generations to come.

Story

My name is Mirna. I will be running the Bath Half Marathon on the 16th of October and fundraising money for Avon Wildlife Trust. This is my first Half Marathon so I am very excited about crossing the Finish line for Avon Wildlife Trust.

I am a keen sportive person that is passionate about animals and nature. The reason I have chosen to support Avon Wildlife Trust is due to my interest in preserving and restoring the beautiful natural environment around us.

Avon Wildlife Trust is on a mission to restore at least 30% of land and sea for nature by 2030 and your donations will help support wildlife and wild places around where we live. Please donate generously to help Avon Wildlife Trust's efforts in achieving their mission.

Any donation is greatly appreciated, and to illustrate how your help goes a long way, this is how your kind donation could be used:

£60 could fund the purchase of a vaccine to vaccinate a badger against bovine TB.

£150 could buy materials to help staff and volunteers repair and maintain fences across our reserves to protect delicate habitats and keep livestock safe.

£300 could buy a battery powered chainsaw so we can reduce the use of petrol machinery to reduce our carbon footprint and noise pollution.

£500 could fund a species survey to make sure it’s protected
