One Sands memory box costs £20 and can make such
 an incredible difference to someone who's baby has just died. We
provide memory boxes to bereaved parents so they can make precious
memories with their baby. A memory box is a permanent and personal
reminder of the baby they sadly could not bring home and something we
provide free of charge to any parent or family who contacts us.

When Sands launched Challenge15 four years ago, they asked us to challenge the numbers by challenging yourself. We want to drive
down the number of babies who die before, during and shortly after
birth, and you did. Thanks to our amazing efforts we have
helped reduce this number from 15 to 13. 

1,065 fewer babies have died in the last four years because of this challenge.

Whilst this progress is amazing, there is still so much more work to be done. Today in the UK, 13 babies will die before, during or shortly after birth and a further 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in loss. 

Every number represents a much wanted and dreamed-of baby and we must
 continue to challenge the numbers until every family gets to watch
their baby grow up.  

We need to continue our work to save these babies and ensure they
have the start to life that every family wishes for. Join us on this
