Donations are paid into Solving Kids' Cancer’s general funds for our charitable activities. We help families affected by neuroblastoma through the provision of support and information; as well as investing in research and advocating for access to better treatment

Story

My name is Sophie Wallace and I have been named as Miss Crown and Glory Scotland 2016/17. In July 2017, I will travel south of the border to compete for the title of Miss Crown and Glory UK.

Crown and Glory UK fundraise for Deans Journey, an appeal which is supported by Solving Kids Cancer.

Dean Puplett was diagnosed with stage four high-risk neuroblastoma aged three. Now aged nine he is clear of the disease but has been left with long-term side effects from treatment:

- permanent use of bilateral hearing aids
- permanent use of glasses
- use of orthesis to support, align, prevent or correct deformities and improve function of movable body parts.

With a high risk of relapse, it is important to raise vital funds to support Dean, his family and those in similar situations if this should happen.

I urge you to give generously, but even the smallest of donations make a difference.

Thank you.
