We may think we have it tough in UK schools, esp. when the Government don't necessarily have a clue about eduction. However, at least every child here is given an education - it's a basic right. Sadly children in many areas of the World are denied this basic right - why should where you're born decide if you'll get an education or not?

I was given my place in the Tough Mudder South East by my partner teacher at school...she won it in the school's May Fair raffle! Not being a sporty person, she thought it best to give it to someone who might have a chance of completing it (though I'm not convinced I will!!). As it came from school I thought it was only right to raise funds for a school/education related charity.
