This year, I will be taking part in two events which I hope will raise enough money to go towards finding a cure for Motor Neurone Disease & Alzheimer's. No doubt we all know someone with either of these dishabilitating diseases so by donating to Run2Revive, I hope that the time spent finding a cure is significantly reduced. 

My First event will be the ABP Newport Marathon in Wales. This is no easy feat and will take at least 15 weeks of training to cover the 26.2 miles in under three and a half hours(hopefully!). My second event is a two-day run/hike in the Grand Canyon in the USA. I will be starting on the South Rim of the Canyon and making my way to the North Rim. I will be covering over 50 miles in two days. It'll be a grueling 5000ft down to the base of the Canyon and 6000ft up the other side. This then is repeated the next day as I'll repeat the run/hike in reverse. I hope to have both days done in under 20 hours(again, here's hoping).

I'm doing all of this for those who are fighting and those who have lost their battles with MND and Alzheimer's. Together, through fundraising like this, I hope that a cure can be found in the not too distant future.  I am more than willing to talk more about these events or the charities that I am running for.
