Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 8 weeks time, I will be participating in my first ever boxing match! This may come as a surprise to most people who know me but yes, on the 29th June at the Bet365 stadium, I will be pulling on the gloves and stepping into the ring all for a great cause.
Alongside my brother, Chris Durose and lifelong friend, James Mathers, I will be putting myself through 8 weeks of gruelling training to raise as much money possible for charity.
I am a complete boxing novice so I have absolutely no idea what to expect or how on earth it is going to go! BUT, life begins at the end of your comfort zone and this is certainly going to take me beyond the edge of my comfort zone!
Although I was very young at the time, my Nanna Doreen lost her battle with Cancer and it is in her memory that I will be pulling on the gloves. I will also be fighting for all those who are currently suffering or have suffered, and their families so that hopefully one day we can knock Cancer out!
Over the next 8 weeks, I will keep you updated on how the training is going and also provide any updates relating to the event or any further fundraising opportunities.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go along way in the fight against cancer!
I'd also love to have your support on the night! Tickets can be bought through (when purchasing tickets, please enter Mitchell Durose as the person you are coming to see):

or you can contact me directly through social media and I will be able to sort you out tickets!
Any support will certainly go a long way!
Cheers!
