The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the John Hunter Children's Hospital provides highly specialized, family- centered care for sick and premature newborns.

While my daughter did spend some time in NICU when she was born it was the many hours i spent sitting next to my daughter watching families and doctors come and go that made me realize how fortunate we are to have these facilities available.

No amount of Favorites chocolate box's or coffee's could ever repay the staff and nurse's for what they did for my family and thousands more family's every year.

So in 2022 i will be putting myself in the hurt locker to raise money and try and do my part to thank the staff and nurse's of the Hunter New England Health District NICU ward at John Hunter Hospital and help ensure these services are available for future families for generations to come.
