We will be walking 6 miles for St Raphael's in memory of our much loved Dad and Gramps.

Dad was cared for by the hospice in 2020, even under strict covid measures the team at the hospice were excellent. The kindness, generosity and patience of the whole team was something we were all grateful for. In the toughest of circumstances nothing was too much for them, even creating a ramp so we could the whole bed outside and smoke a cigar!

Dad remarked each day on the care he received and was keen that we all support as much as we can! So we will all (kids and dogs included) be walking the lavender walk and raising what we can to help the team and hospice continue its great work.

The hospice only receives 25% of their funding from the government even though everyone of their patients are NHS. They have to find over £4 million to support 1000 patients, their family and friends every year. Any amount you can give will be gratefully received!
