In May 2019, me and 19 other Weightmans colleagues are volunteering in Uganda. We are volunteering for Isaac's House, a small charity which helps to secure the future for children, adults and families affected by war, HIV and poverty.

Why should I donate?

In order to be accepted to go on this volunteering trip, I have been asked to raise £250 for this fantastic charity. I will be grateful for any money you are kind enough to donate. None of the money you donate will go towards my flights, accommodation etc. I have paid for all of that myself. All money goes directly to the charity. 

What does the charity do?

Isaac's House currently provides 19 children with education and healthcare, as well as a place they call home. The charity also helps children in the local community to get access to the education that they deserve.

The charity also helps adults too. They assist seven single mothers with their rent to ensure they can provide a home for their children. They also help another single mother by supplying her with essential diabetes medication.

What will I be doing there?

I will be helping at Isaac's House with any kind of task that they require assistance with. I will also be volunteering and assisting at a disability centre to help children with all types of disability, some of which are undiagnosed.
