I am taking part in Tough Mudder on the 5th of May 2018 for Solving Kids Cancer along with my work colleagues at Marks Sattin. Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile mud an obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina & mental grit. With no podiums, winners or clocks to race against, it's not about how fast you can cross the finish line. Rather, it's a challenge that emphasizes teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.

Solving Kids Cancer is a very small charity that provides support for children and families affected by neuroblastoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer. They provide a range of specialist support services to families affected by neuroblastoma designed to equip them with the knowledge and resources they need to fight the disease. they also fund the ground-breaking neuroblastoma research that is essential to push treatment forward and improve outcomes for children.

There are around 100 cases of neuroblastoma diagnosed a year, predominantly in children under 5 years old. Neuroblastoma has one of the lowest survival rates of all childhood cancers, with only 67% surviving to 5 years. High-risk neuroblastoma has a high chance of relapse, and relapsed neuroblastoma has only a 1 in 10 survival rate.

Please support me and this worthy cause, for those of you who enjoy to see me suffer, I certainly will be!

Thanks

Matt
