There's really no story behind this whatsoever, more a series of poor decisions resulting in a challenge which will either kill or maim me. On the plus side it's for a really good cause, so let's just focus on that and not spend any time thinking about what constitutes an Alp and quite how much it's going to hurt to cycle up 11 of them.
