Willowbrook Hospice, an independent charity covering St Helens & Knowsley in Merseyside, aims to enhance the quality of life, and relieve the suffering of patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses by providing Specialist Palliative Care for those in need and support for their carers.

Story

Sadly Malcolm lost his battle to mesothelioma in February 2016. He fought a strong fight, never gave up and continued to cycle and sail throughout his treatment.

He was incredibly proud of his family heritage and truly lived by the clan motto of Invictus Maneo (I remain unvanquished).

Malcolm was a beloved husband to Denise, a proud dad to Matthew, Alexander, Jonathan and Claire, their wives Laura and Jennifer, and partners Claire and James.

An adored colleague, a mentor to many and a friend to everybody. Malcolm was a true gentleman.

He will be sorely missed by so many, but his legacy will live on through his children and all those that he helped.
