We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients and families in Wales

Story

As most of you are aware, earlier this year, our friend lost his long fight to Cancer. The loss has affected us all greatly.

Over the last 7 years, MJ has inspired so many friends and family to take up a charitable cause and in particular the support for Velindre Cancer Centre. Over the last few years we were lucky enough to experience some life changing experiences and meet some truly inspirational people and we have MJ to thank for this.

So In true MJ fashion, we're not going to sit on our arses and mope about the loss but hopefully do something positive, that I'm sure he'd appreciate.

Lock down rules standing. On MJs birthday (2nd September), a small group of MJ's friends plan to cycle 150km and visit some of the rugby grounds that had such a positive impact on his life. We will start at the Scarlets, then travel eastward to the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. After this, we will continue to travel to Newport where we will visit Rodney Parade. We will then travel into the valleys where it all began for MJ and stop off at Pontllanfraith RFC and finally finish at Oakdale RFC where he spent so many enjoyable hours coaching his kids rugby team.
