Story

Since 2011 we have been privileged to accompany Santa as he travels around Milton Keynes in December.

We usually knock on doors as we pass, so that people can see Santa and his sleigh, and we raise money for local causes by collecting as we do that.

For 2020 we are changing the way in which we carry out the visits. For everyone's safety, we won't be knocking on doors, instead we are asking people to listen out for us and then safely stay by the door, or on their drive or garden to wave to Santa.

However in this strange year we particularly want to be able to support Willen Hospice, as they are experiencing a 50% loss in their fundraising income this year.

Our big change though, is we are asking you to donate online, which you can do both before or after our visit, as well as when we are in the area. Online donations mean we can still support the vital work and services of Willen Hospice, even if we are not able to get our and about as usual. We hope  you will want to support Willen Hospice by making a donation.

Covid-19 regulations and the weather permitting, we are very much hoping that we will still be able to visit:

Old Farm Park and Brown's Wood - Friday 4th December 6pm til 8pm

Poets Estate in Newport Pagnell - Sunday 6th December 6pm til 8pm

Poets Estate in Bletchley - Sunday 13th December 6pm til 8pm

Saint's Estate and Far Bletchley - Sunday 20th December 6pm til 8pm

We expect our timings for individual roads will be different this year, so do listen out.

As we might have to cancel, we ask you not to promise any Santa fans you know that we will be coming. Please visit our website : mkwatlingrotary.org.uk or find us on Facebook for up to date information.
