Asalamualykum,

The Eid Fun Day is set up with the aim of uniting the local community and celebrating and enjoying Eid as it it should be, especially for the young Muslim community. Insha’Allah in the future we aim to hold the event much closer to the actual day of Eid. 

This page has been set up to try and cover the costs of the event of June 5th 2022 in full so it can go ahead as a free event. Currently £900 has been raised with the cost of the event estimated at £2,000. 

If costs are not covered, there will be a charge for food on the day in order to cover costs. 

Costs include

- Venue hire

- Meat

- Cutlery

- Van hire costs (bbqs, table, chairs ect need to be transported to the event)

- Entertainment (bouncy castle, slide, bungee run, including staffing costs to supervise these as well as generator hire)

Please note, there will be a few small businesses with their own stall who will charge for their products (clothes, jewellery, cakes, candy floss).
