I've become a bit of a lockdown cliche and have taken up running. I decided to join the Get Lippy run to give me a target to run towards and to raise a bit of money for a charity I donate to every year.

The Eve Appeal is the UKs leading gynaecological cancer charity. They fund life-saving research and raise awareness of the five gynaecological cancers: womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal. Did you know there were 5? I'd only ever heard of ovarian and cervical before I came across the Eve appeal. 

Every day 58 women in the UK are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer and 21 die. That's far too many wives, daughters, sisters, partners and friends. 

My aim for this is to run the 10k in under 65 minutes (beating my first 10K time) and raise some money at the same time.
