We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

After loosing MIOG Member Colin Burgess in June 2024 to a short but aggressive fight with Prostate Cancer, we've turned our attention to fundraising for a cause that has suddenly for all the wrong reasons been a cause close to our hearts. We're arranging multiple events over the next 13th months running up to our Exhibition on the 24th/25th October 2025 - This was one of Colin's many passions together (Model Railways & the real railways) We hope to raise a pot of cash which hopefully will mean that other peoples loved ones and families wont have to experience the traumatic journey that we had to endure with Colin. He was a well loved Dad, Husband and man of his family, so help us do him proud and even if you pledge just £5 we'd greatly appreciate it. We've set ourselves an ambitious target of £20,000 but even if we raise just half of that it would be an amazing achievement.

All of our plans can be found on www.modernimageogauge.co.uk or our facebook page. If you can follow
