We had a great time on the Engineers for Change (Sierra Leone) fun and health challenge on a 25km walk along the Thames, crossing 16 of London’s iconic bridges from Putney to Tower Bridge.

The walk was a charity fundraising event organised by EfC-SL to raise £5,000 for the purchase of much needed laboratory equipment for Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Students at the university currently  lack equipment for practical application of their engineering studies – studies on how to build vitally important things like bridges, buildings and tunnels. New equipment means better student outcomes and better quality engineers to help develop the country!
