My local mosque 'Masjid Ayesha Tottenham' (aka Tottenham Mosque) is being rebuilt. It is part of the Islamic Community Centre. The plan is to build a two-storey multi-purpose building which will include Haringey's first ever purpose built youth club for Muslim youth. I've always been part of this youth club as a member and youth leader.

The community in Tottenham has donated over £500,000 and half of the mosque/community centre has already been built. However, there's no more money in the kitty and we need another £500,000+ to complete the rebuilding project.

I'm taking a group of youth to climb Ben Nevis, UK's highest mountain on 25 September 2010 inshallah. Collectively, we're hoping to raise quite a bit of money to help build our local mosque. So, please please sponsor me and help build a lasting legacy for Tottenham's Muslim community.
